When the official teaser poster for Once Upon a Time In Hollywood dropped, needless to say, it caused quite a fuss on Twitter. Many poster designers like myself jumped at the chance to re-produce the artwork in a more stylistic take than the disappointing original. Despite limited resources, I was able to source relatively high quality stills from news sites. I colour graded each photo separately for a lighter/summery colour scheme and tone.
My design was tweeted the same day as the original dropped (approx. 5 hours post) peaking at 1.1k likes and 200 retweets over the course of the following 2 days, with many preferring it to the original, despite the limited resources and knowledge of the film (which at the time was still 6 months from release).
